Process of Realization

Everyone has there own process of ‘whatever you might think of’. Yes, even I have that. I realize that I am not going to settle easily. What do I mean by that? Before I settle in a stable, secure partnership where I feel that I have accomplished everything within my career, I feel that I need to do just that last thing- go and fulfill myself with the one thing I know will make me the happiest person on earth.

Proud!

I made a list to see if I did achieve the things I said I wanted in my life. Before 2020 ends I can proudly state:

  • I made my business card with a logo (last year)
  • I made a logo for the first lady- Leading Lady (last year)
  • I use my business logo also as part of my personal branding logo
  • I have concept blog, where I just write my stories (Soon will have my own domain)
  • I work independently (no 9-5 job) and as freelancer
  • I have gained a few pounds (Yeah!)
  • I got the scholarship and it still proceeding
  • I earn more than SRD 5000 per month (*SRD is the currency of Suriname-South America, between Guyana and French-Guyana)

A new thing to add, that wasn’t part of 2020:

– With Corona (COVD-19) happening all around the world I made one new friend from abroad and we have long in-depth calls.

There are more on the list, and if I keep doing this, taking small steps. It will be no problem to reach all I really want.

Happy from the INSIDE

I need to share this. It has taken me awhile to figure a few things out. One of the things is Who I am vs Who I want to be. The difference is one comes from deep within you and doesn’t care about societies expectations, which for the other is entirely based on societies expectation. How do I know? I have been busy with my own personal development for quite awhile now. I need to start doing stuff, and before I do that let me recall that these makes me very very very HAPPY from the INSIDE

Reviewing my goals of 2015

On October 2012 I had this session with Matt Booth; Be Yourself Improve Yourself. At this workshop I need to make me a list of goals to achieve. Every time that you reach a goal you check it off, email him and write a new one. Do this yearly to check up on yourself. The second thing, mailing him, I did not do. I think I need to mail him, because I did check a few.

This was a rewritten one in 2015- there are 26 goals ?

Here we go ?

Going through my writings stuff

Going through my writings stuff- as old notebooks- I see a few things I wrote down one year ago. Applying for the National Junior Diplomatic Program and the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship. I got accepted at both of the programs. Looking back makes me proud. If COVID-19 didn’t come this year, I would have prepared for departure a couple of months from now. Still leaving next year for the second program. Another thing is me leaving my old job. Being a journalist, camjo, for 9 years, made me re-evaluate my life’s decisions. I haven’t reached my full potential yet, and I choose a career shift. The challenge I took to become a communication officer differs from a journalist. You can’t even think to combine those two. I also resign my position and membership at the Journalism union. You have to be a journalist or working for a news media outlet and I am not even doing it part time to become a special member of the union. Not only do I see scrabbles of career opportunities. I see scrabbles of thoughts within the subject of designing life or business opportunities. Let’s make this public!
